Dr. Adriana Rios Rincon

Dr. Ríos Rincón's research topics include studying the effects of implementing assistive technologies on the occupational performance, functioning, and social participation of people with disabilities; and the study of factors that explain the usability and adoption of rehabilitation and assistive technologies.  Her current research is devoted to investigating the use of assistive technologies to assess and promote cognitive skills and engagement in play in individuals with motor and cognitive impairment, including those living with dementia. She also investigates the use of information and communication technologies to support decisions about transitions across the continuum of care in older adults.
