Amanda Mongiove, a Speech-Language Pathologist turned Software Engineer, received her Master of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2018 from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor's degree in Hearing and Speech Science from the University of Maryland in 2016. Amanda's career has been spread across a variety of hospital, outpatient, private practice, and private school settings working with both pediatrics and adults. In 2020, Amanda signed up for a coding bootcamp through the Flatiron School and has since pivoted into the world of tech. Currently, Amanda is the Junior Software Engineer at Literably. Literably is an EdTech company specializing in improving the quality and accuracy of literacy assessments in the classroom. Amanda is passionate about successful communication and creating solutions to problems that impact people in a positive way each day.
