Ciara (Kiki) Salmon is a user experience researcher who specializes in accessibility. She started her journey as an occupational therapist (OT) in geriatrics, acute and sub-acute care. When working as an OT, she witnessed the difficulty her patients and their families had when using technology to connect with her for services. This became more apparent during the pandemic when many of the services were virtual. This was the first step in starting the transition over to user experience research and the desire to specifically specialize in accessibility.
