Getting Started with 3D Printing & Assistive Technology

This session will give you all the necessary knowledge, inspiration and resources to design and 3D print your own assistive devices. Following an overview of 3D printing and assistive technology, you’ll be introduced to make:able – a yearly assistive technology design challenge open to students, professionals and anyone interested in making assistive devices for real end users in their local community. The challenge also comes with a complete online training toolkit, making it perfect for those getting started with 3D printing.
