AOTA: Using Virtual Interventions to Combat Social Isolation and Occupational Deprivation in Older Adults
During the response to this pandemic, most older adults have experienced significant disruptions in their occupational and social routines. There are myriad apps and platforms that can be used to support virtual social and occupational engagements. But how do you know which ones might best meet the needs of your specific client? This webinar features the work of a group of the Technology Coordinators from various AOTA Special Interest Sections (SISs) to compile resources that practitioners and families may use to support engagement in a virtual format. The resources will be reviewed, and a discussion will explore clinical best practices for using virtual interventions.
