Nirtal is the CEO of Curovate, a health technology company focused on mobile apps for physical therapy and rehabilitation before and after orthopaedic surgery. Nirtal is a physical therapist with 20 years of clinical experience in orthopaedic, sports and manual therapy. Fellow of the Canadian Manual Therapy Association (FCAMT) with a clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine and a Masters in Physical Therapy from D'Youville College in Buffalo, New York. Nirtal also completed a Masters in Public Health at the University of Toronto in 2015. Nirtal is an adjunct lecturer in the Dalla Lana School of Public Health and a sessional lecturer in the Faculty of Kinesiology and Physical Education both at the University of Toronto. Nirtal has 4 peer reviewed publications and has helped to develop and deploy 3 mobile apps for rehabilitation.
