Shannon Ratay

Shannon is a Career Consultant, Executive Coach, Facilitator and Workshop Leader.

She advises leaders of all levels on best practices for effective job search, helping clients understand how all of their talents, passions and skills can work together to create a career and life that speaks to the whole of who they are. She’s recognized for being an expert in assisting job search candidates making major career shifts, particularly into non-traditional and creative fields. She’s excellent at easing overwhelm and charting a clear course towards a next career step or next personal step.

Shannon is playful in her approach, but serious about her clients stepping up; direct but inspiring. She owes her strengths and passion for coaching to her own journey switching from a job she dreaded to building a thriving, fulfilling career. Companies she’s worked for include The North Face, PowerBar, Backroads, and Levi’s. In addition to her own private coaching practice, she is a Career Coach for Torchiana, an SF Bay Area outplacement firm, and is an internal coach for Clif Bar. She lives in Oakland, Californa and spends her spare time adventuring around the Bay Area.
